About - Jim Sharlow

Jim has been a long time student of the specialty and skilled type professions. He has studied Industrial Arts at Kent State University and Electrical Engineering Technology at Stark State College. Jim owns rental properties and enjoys renovating houses when he has the time. He obtained his first job as a maintenance supervisor twelve years ago and has been involved in long term care for almost ten years. Jim began working at KentRidge in the early stages of the construction of the building.

"I have always preferred problem solving, repair work and hands-on labor to pushing a pencil behind a desk. So it is no surprise that I view talking with the seniors at KentRidge as a learning experience. Listening to their stories and socializing with them is better than any history class I ever sat through."
