Nancy Gallo began her career in activites in 1996 when a friend mentioned and opening at a long-term care facility in Stow.  She was working as an x-ray technician at the time, and was unsure about changing careers, so she started off as a volunteer.  She enjoyed the work so much that she accepted a position in activities in marketing.  She stayed there for six years until taking a job as Activities Assistant at another residence before finally making her way to KentRidge.  She began as began as a volunteer did such a wonderful job that she was offered the position of Activities Director.
